The Devil's Advocate follows Kevin Lomax (Keanu Reeves), an undefeated Florida defense lawyer drawn to New York by a prestigious firm run by the charismatic John Milton (Al Pacino), who is secretly Satan. As Kevin wins high-profile, morally compromising cases, his wife Mary Ann (Charlize Theron) suffers terrifying visions, realizing the firm and Milton are evil, while Kevin becomes seduced by ambition and power, slowly descending into corruption as he discovers Milton is his father and he is destined to bring about the Antichrist.
