THE GREAT ESCAPE II, THE UNTOLD STORY starring Christopher Reeve, as Major John Dodge, with Judd Hirsch and Donald Pleasence, examines the WWII story of allied prisoners recaptured and executed by the German Gestapo after a failed escape attempt, the search and capture of Stalag III officials responsible for the murders, and their eventual conviction at the War Crimes Court in Hamburg, 1947.
