Set in the world of Stephen King's "IT" universe, IT: WELCOME TO DERRY is based on King's "IT" novel and expands the vision established by filmmaker Andy Muschietti in the feature films "IT" and "IT Chapter Two."

This terrifying prequel series goes back to 1962 to trace the origins of the murderous, shape-shifting entity known as Pennywise the Clown (Bill Skarsgård). IT: Welcome to Derry premiered on HBO on October 26, 2025 and quickly became one of the most talked-about new series of the year.
