After his father is senselessly killed in a saloon fight, fifteen-year-old Jory (Robby Benson, Beauty and the Beast) must quickly learn how to make it on his own. Taking up with a horse driver (John Marley, The Godfather) and his right-hand man (B.J. Thomas), Jory is taught the fine art of handling guns, horses, and liquor.
