While everyone around him ages, Dorian Gray maintains the age at which artist Basil Hallwood painted his portrait. Convinced of his immortality, Dorian, under the tutelage of a charismatic and cynical hedonist, Lord Henry (George C. Scott), begins a life of indulgence and moral decay. Scandalous love affairs, cruelty and finally murder reshape his life. When repentance finally comes, Dorian thinks it's time for him to confront the long hidden portrait. What he sees is a shocking look into his destiny and soul.
