White Sun of the Desert is a classic Soviet film about a Red Army soldier, Fyodor Sukhov, who is demobilized during the Russian Civil War and ordered to guard the harem of a bandit leader named Abdullah. While trying to return home to his wife, Sukhov is forced to protect the women, leading to a series of adventures and conflicts as he tries to survive the desert and defeat Abdullah's forces. Cinematography by Eduard Rozovsky (Amphibian Man).
